I made my first baby shower cake. I got an e-mail this morning from someone in a pinch. They needed a cake by that afternoon. I didnt hear back until about 12:30 and they needed the cake by 2:30!! So that gave me close to 2 hours to do a 2 tier cake for a baby shower! Lucky for me I have the best sister who let me use her car and watched my son so I ran to Michaels and grabbed a few things. I got the cakes done at 2:45 I was 15 min. late, but the shower didnt start until 3:30. I feel like it went great. I am looking forward to many more cakes! I have pictures that I may post of the cakes, but they are not stacked because they were picked up (travel with the tiers stacked would be dangerous!).
